Sawdust Art Festival is an annual nonprofit event boasting local artists and showcasing everything from jewelry and ceramics to paintings and mixed media arts. Occurring the first Thursday of every month, First Thursdays Art Walk features artwork from various galleries, as well as food and wine vendors. Catch the Laguna Beach Farmers’ Market every Saturday morning. Featuring over 40 vendors, one would be hard-pressed not to find what they’re looking for.
If you’re into the arts, take in some local masterpieces or enjoy a docent-guided tour at the Laguna Art Museum. If you’re a sports lover, spend some time taking in the great outdoors at Ben Brown’s Golf Course. This is a terrific golf course that has been built into its intimate, plush natural surroundings.

For the more experienced hiker, be sure to explore El Moro Canyon Short Loop Trail, a more challenging option that features horseback riding, mountain biking, and ocean views.
